God cares for his children

Shalom dear friends!

Today we would like to share with you news from our team from Israel who have been in Poland for the last few weeks supporting a camp for refugee (Messianic) Jews from Ukraine. Let us take you into the miracles that God has done in the last weeks:

Our team was in Poland for a total of twelve days and had two or three opportunities each day to preach and share the Word of the living God. The Holy Scriptures teach us that we Jews must be the light of the world and that the Torah will come out of Zion. Today the prophecies are being fulfilled before our eyes: Together with the Ukrainians who have fled, our team has celebrated Shabbat, passed on 100 children’s Bibles, organised medical appointments and organised excursions.

In their last letter, our staff told you about a 28-year-old woman who suffers from cerebral palsy and whose condition had continued to worsen due to the war and the stress it caused. The woman is an orphan and her group home has been destroyed by the war, so she travelled to Poland with members of one of our Ukrainian churches. With God’s help, our team found an excellent medical rehabilitation centre near the camp and were able to pay for a 17-day stay there. The woman was soooo happy! Pray that the daily treatments with physiotherapy, water massage, etc. will help her and she will start walking again.

Another prayer request we would like to share with you are ten children who have been adopted and whose adoptive parents have stayed in Ukraine to help. On the day our staff left, the oldest girl, 17 years old, said she wanted to go back to Ukraine to be with her parents. Our staff explained to her that this was not the best idea now, yet they are worried that she might turn back and something might happen to her on the way! Please pray for the children who are separated from their families and do not know if and when they will see them again. May they especially experience the love, closeness and care of their heavenly Father during this time and feel comforted and secure with Him!

You can also pray for one of our co-workers from Israel who wanted to pick up her eight-year-old grandson at the border to Ukraine. On the way to Warsaw, the grandson lost his passport and now they cannot fly on. Please pray that the Lord will help our team to find a solution.

We have experienced with our own eyes that our Lord still works miracles and saves His people today. In the twelve days that our team was in Poland, the Lord gave grace and brought more than 15 Jewish families out of Ukraine and enabled them to continue their journey to Israel. Praise the Lord!

In addition, our workers were able to supply our Messianic brothers and sisters in Ukraine from Poland: 60 kg of detergent, 15 kg of baby food, several hundred bars of soap and medicines found their way to them. In addition, 40 people from eastern Ukraine could be brought to western Ukraine. In order to continue this service, the team that has remained on site needs an SUV or mini-van with nine seats as well as a trailer. Unfortunately, the German vehicle market is currently empty. Please pray that God will give us a solution!

Our team reports that they have experienced God’s intervention and work in a very special way in the past days: God has always given the right words to preach, comfort and support, as well as donations that have made it possible to serve the people in the way they needed.

Back in Israel, our staff are always thinking about what they couldn’t do and considering whether they should leave again. At the same time, there are many Olim Hadashim from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus who have their hands full in Israel at the moment. Please pray for God’s will!

Be blessed in our great Lord and Saviour Yeshua HaMashiach!
